Jimmy was a beloved high school instructor who was taken from us unexpectedly in 2007. He strived in making a difference with all of his students.
Jim was the husband of Theresa M. (Burke), to who he was married for 27 years. Loving father to James W. Tello and Heather Joy Tello both of Wareham; dedicated son of James A. Tello Sr. and Dolores (Sebastian) Tello of Hudson, NH; and brother to David Tello of Hudson, NH and Robert Tello and his wife Laura of Salisbury.
Born in Staten Island, New York, Mr. Tello was a former resident of Burlington, graduating from Burlington High School in 1973.
Jim was working on completing his degree in education and was a diesel automotive technical instructor at Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School for 3+ years. He was previously employed by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority.
He enjoyed boating and restoring antique cars.
